ガミラスの侵略を退けてから1年後の西暦2201年、白色彗星帝国が宇宙の各惑星にその侵略の手を伸ばしていた。 地球は復興をほぼ終え、都市は活気づき平和に満ちていた。古代進も護衛艦艦長として輸送補給船団に同行していたが、偶然、発信源不明のメッセージを受信する。そのメッセージは、救いを求めるような女性の声であった。かつてのヤマト乗組員たちは、危機の正体を突き止めるためにヤマトを発進させる。 テレザート星に到着した古代たちは、メッセージの発信者であったテレサを救出する。テレサは、白色彗星帝国が宇宙の星々を次々と侵略しており、次に狙っているのが地球であることを告げる。 白色彗星帝国は地球に迫り、最新鋭戦艦アンドロメダを旗艦とした地球艦隊を全滅させる。ヤマトは白色彗星の渦の中心核に波動砲を打ち込む。彗星は火の玉となって炎上するが、その中から巨大な要塞、都市帝国が...。It is an imaginative and moving adventure, providing pure family entertainment that tells the story of brothers Óscar, 13, and Teo, 11, very different from each other, who live in a modest apartment.
