昭和五十五年的一桩密室谋杀案，由于上司急于升迁，所以最终草草结案，惟有警探笹垣润三（船越英一郎 饰）对此案不能释怀。多年后，当年嫌犯的女儿西本雪穗已改名唐泽雪穗（堀北真希 饰），并且过着与之前毫不相干的生活。但是，仿佛她有幸运之神的庇护一样，凡是给她制造麻烦的人，都会发生意外。后来，雪穗的好友江利子（绿友利惠 饰）与有钱人家的少爷篠冢一成（姜畅雄 饰）相恋，但最终一成却选择了与雪穗结婚。此时，笹垣虽已退休，但他始终没有放弃追杀当年谋杀案的真相，而且，他的目标最终锁定了当年被害人的儿子桐原亮司（高良健吾 饰）和雪穗…… 本片改编自东野圭吾的同名小说。。在電影《屍降》中，描述一群宗教心靈協會信眾舉辦喚魂儀式，想把死去的教徒喚回人世；不料卻意外招來孤魂野鬼，在屋子中作祟不得安寧。協會中高階能力者阿德（阿南達飾）趕忙處理，讓靈騷狀況暫時解除。但眾人開始逐一遭到附身，也揭露彼此不為人知的隱晦暗處。。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
