影片讲述相声始祖朱绍文在清末不畏强权，坎坷的艺术人生。相声祖师爷朱绍文在天桥下根据字意谈古论今说笑话，每解释完一个字定能使人发笑。王府的格格爱上了朱绍文，却遭到王爷的反对，被许配到将军府。王爷处处刁难陷害朱绍文，可朱绍文还是因相声红遍了北京城，被老佛爷封为天桥八大怪之首…… 本片运用演艺与事件相结合的手法，集喜剧、爱情、动作、传统文化于一身，再现相声这一门传统艺术的起源，活灵活现的展示了相声行业公认的祖师爷—朱绍文坎坷的艺术人生。。A traveling cellist gets involved with two disturbed sisters on their way to Seattle to tell their mom that their dad has just passed away. On the way, the two kill a judge and a few others unknown to the cellist. Eventually he gets pinned for the crimes and is forced to defend himself.。
