一天，郭天佑(曾志伟饰)、李永祥(陈小春饰)、徐娇(杜汶泽饰)及洪国波(贾宗超饰) 四人突然不约而同离开工作岗位，换上他们绝少穿着的黑色西装，搭上毫不起眼的普通的士，准备进行一项神秘行动：14小时的“偷食”行动。原来他们的老婆或恋人——一众太太团结伴到泰国拜佛，因而获得彻底自由的14小时。 他们小心策划，部署一切，务求不会浪费时间。如期出发后，行动却意外频生、处处碰壁，大家开始怀疑意外并非偶然，而是有人暗中破坏，甚至怀疑四人中有告密者存在。与此同时，一辆神秘车子更是一直跟踪着他们。原来四人的太太女友突然折返，打算联手截击他们的“偷食”行动。 “偷食”行动能否如期进行，又将如何收场呢？。该剧根据畅销作家Nick Hornby1998年的同名小说改编，讲述的是一个另类的「成长纪事」单镜头喜剧故事（半小时）。此前有2002年英国电影版，Hugh Grant、meijubar.net 、Toni Collette和Nicholas Hoult[皮囊Skins]联袂出演。编剧/制作人Jason Katims（「为人父母」、「胜利之光Friday Night Lights」），导演Jon Favreau（「钢铁侠1&2」、「圣诞精灵」）。Will Freeman（David Walton，「半路情缘」）的生活无忧无虑，就像个永远长不大的孩子。在创作了一首热门歌曲之后，他再也不用为生活烦恼——他现在有的是钱，有的是自由时间，身边有的是美女佳人。别人说他是个终日只会吃喝玩乐的单身汉，但他一点也不反感——他喜欢这样。当贫穷的单身母亲Fiona（Mi...。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
