In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。故事从发生在红光商场的一场大火和保险公司调查科科长余炳其的意外车祸身亡开始。表面上似乎没什么关联的两件案子在经刑侦大队的眼里却有着某种必然的联系，为了把案件查个水落石出，经侦大队派出了以张平、王烨和肖山为首的调查小组，他们各个精明强干，几个人分工协作，没几天的工夫，经过多方取证，案件就有了突破性的进展。 据调查，多年前红光商场曾向银行贷了一笔巨款，但商场经理田龙总以商场负债经营为理由拒绝偿还贷款。这场不明来由的大火不但烧毁了商场所有的财务资料，还烧死了当事人田龙。保险公司认为其中另有隐情，拒绝全额赔偿，遂派余炳其前往查明真相，没想到他却因此而丢了性命……。影片讲述了“90后”女警史晓兰虽身为烈士之后，却不慕安逸，以优秀人物作为榜样，刻苦实干逐步向前。从警院毕业回到县城后，她一心希望成为一名真正合格的人民警察，但意外和麻烦总是不期而至。在警队师长们的帮助带领下，她经过苦心磨砺逐渐成长，并获得属于自己的殊荣。影片也围绕着这个年轻的见习女警的工作和生活展开，充分体现了当代“90后”不图安逸，奋发向上，不轻言放弃的奋斗历程，着重表现了新时代基层民警务实进取的精神风貌。。
